Frequently asked questions
What is your commission?
On a sale, 2% plus VAT from each side; on a letting, one month’s rent plus VAT. The rate is written into the agreement and does not change mid-transaction.
How do you value my home?
We weigh completed sales in the same neighbourhood over the last six months against the floor, aspect and age of the flat and the building’s earthquake compliance. The report is written and dated.
Do you work with foreign buyers?
Yes. We handle the tax number, sworn translator and survey report; where citizenship applications are involved we refer you to the law firm we work with.
What documents do I need to list a property?
A copy of the title deed, your ID and the compulsory earthquake insurance policy. The listing agreement and photography are done on our first visit.
What does letting a property involve?
We check income and references, prepare the tenancy agreement and attend the utility transfers with you.
